best 9"ish tablet?

Im willing to pay top dollar. Not looking for bang for the buck but Ive read to death. Im wanting one right around the 9 inch mark.. I dont need a tablet with a radio built in (ie. cell service). WiFi only.

From you all better tablet educated than I, what should I get?

bit of everything. Dont need a keyboard or docking station.. lots of internet and movies. Would like HDMI out. everything is open.. just wanting the top of the food chain
 
Ultimately I dont even know all my options in the 9" market. just listing known tablets would be helpful.

Only one Ive looked at is the Samsung Galaxy 8.9
