Guys i need you to help me identify the name of this app:

I read about this android application that lets you know for example if you are in a mall and somebody in your contact list in near you, that application lets you know who is near you and also in which direction that person is that is in your contact list.

I need to know the name of that application as i am looking for it, please help me.

I believe that is an app already on your phone depending on where you got it from it is just the MAPS application you can only do it with people who have that enabled and who have accepted it, it shows you exactly where people are.

if your talking about something else ive never heard of it

oh...its not really what im looking for but one will do, i just dont like the fact that the other person needs to have thesame application enabled.

Thats the only way to track someone else's location. If you could track people's phones without installing an app, a lot of people would not feel safe.

Latitude should already be there when you install google maps. If its not there, go to the market and re-download Google Maps.
