best android phone for 200 or less

My brother is looking for a android for 200 or less that is new or can be had used but like new. Help me find him the right phone.

Try craigslist, ebay or amazon.id definitely go for an htc or samsung galaxy series.I have the galaxy s4 active and its amazing!previous to this I had the s3, s2 and the galaxy s captivate which were all really good phones.grant they had a few gliches after wear and tear but overall.worth the money!good luck

I agree there. I personally have the s3 and love htc and samsung. Just didn't know if for the 200 range there may be something better then the s2. As far as htc I'm not sure what they would have at that price point. I had a evo 3d and loved it but that was for sprint.

I personally prefer HTC devices over Samsung, but what options there are will vary by what he carrier he plans to use it on

Net10 with a att phone. Was doin some lookin and the htc one vx looks like a good phone tho for the money. Where can I buy phones new outright?

Try Amazon.com and tigerdirect.com. Also look at the Samsung Galaxy Express.

If you want a new phone, you might try the LG Optimus L9, it seems to be one of the best of the low end Android phones. While AT&T doesn't carry it, Amazon has an unlocked L9 for $169.

Go with the HTC Amaze or galaxy s2. They were flagship titans at one point. Both are handy reliable phones. Get an Amaze for less than 180, or get an S2 for around that area.

I would not get the L9, it's OK but you can really do better.
