Best Antivirus app

I am looking for a best Antivirus app- Paid or Free. Can anybody suggest with their experience.

I personally dont use a antivirus app. It just seems to slow down the phone and lower battery life. If you have some sketchy friends that send you infected files then that's the only reason I would get a antivirus.

I normally don't use any antivirus or anything. I just figured that it is a unnecessary thing.. Anyways, but I do know that AVG sounds like a pretty good antivirus once it scans everything that you download and all apps you add. So that's what I'd go for.

It's not really relevant on Android. Your best bet is to have a read through this and be careful with what you install.
