Best app for battery usage?

When I first got my Note 3 I got stellar battery life...I'm talking at the end of the day I still had 80% +. Now, that is not so stellar...I'm still getting good life, but I am getting down in the 40-50% range at the end of the day. I'm sure it is stuff that is running on my Note 3, but tracking down what is eating it up is always tuff. I use CPUSpy and GSam Battery Monitor, but I'm really not seeing anything drastic with them.

So, paid or free, suggestions for the BEST app for tracking down this stuff :)

I was just reading about this somewhere else and they said look at the SD card. Here is what I was reading.

"When I got my note 3 it had excellent battery life. I was only charging it every other day. After a few weeks it got where it was barely lasting a whole day. I'd often put it on the charger in with less than 5% left. Besides the screen my biggest drains were android os and android system. I took out my sd card and left it out and shut the phone down and did a battery pull. It is back to having excellent battery life. I don't plan to put the sd card back in, but I wonder if formatting the sd card would have helped. I hope this helps someone else."

I've been able to troubleshoot anything I've encountered with GSAM. Between the graph and the various percentages it tells me where the drains are. So far I've been lucky enough to not have any issues with the Note 3.

Well, the plot thickens...I noticed last night my phone seems to be running warm on the back. This morning I took it off charger and it still felt warm after 2 hours my battery is down to 46%...what the crap is going on with these things

I really like Juice Defender for saving Battery life if you aren't crazy controlling like I am, meaning you always turn stuff on and off. Juice Defender will do it for you and a few other useful things.

Are you re-booting your phone daily? If not, you should. Do it in the morning while it's still on the charger. You'll be amazed how this clears up battery drainage issues. If your phone is warm, that's a sign that something is using a lot of processor. And if you haven't been using the phone for quite some time it's time for a reboot.

Also, are you using the stock active applications widget? This is a great little widget that shows you not only how many apps are active, but shows you which ones are currently using system resources. I dismissed this little tool at first, but now it's right on my front home screen and I check it often. It even changes colors when active apps are using system resources.

I use an app called Fast Reboot to do something like this each morning. It takes seconds to close everything without the time consuming process of a full reboot. Much quicker than a battery pull in most cases.
