Best app for ping failure alert?

I need an app that periodically pings several servers and sends me a notification (via the notification bar) when a ping fails. There are many ping apps, but the ones I tried are missing one or more of the following:

1. Notifications via the notification bar and/or text message.
2. Notifications work even when phone is in standby.
3. Can setup pings for multiple servers.
4. Ping time interval can be set differently for each server.
5. No advertising (I am willing to pay for apps).
6. Does not use too much battery.
7. Does not require unnecessary access permissions.
8. Does not have an abundance of unneeded features (I don't need a suite of tools).

Any ideas?

I don't know how I missed that @ mention back in November... I blame Xenforo. :D

I've used a few apps in the past that made use of a monitoring agent installed on the server. I haven't played with one that does pings from the device. It seems like that would cause some battery drain depending on the check interval. I'll try to poke around and see if I can find anything though!

I wrote a dirty VB app that pings many servers and sends me a text when needed. The point here is that the PC does the monitoring, not my phone. The end goal is the same.
