Best app for taking notes in meetings?

I'd like to use my phone for taking notes during meetings and organizing them based on project. I've been using an app called Meeting Minutes, which has some nice features like being able to email attendees copies of the notes right from the app, but it is designed more for adding bullet points and follow-up items, rather than free flowing notes.

Wondering if other people use their phone or tablets for taking notes during a meeting, rather than a notebook or a laptop?

I have a Note 2, so something with stylus/handwriting support would be nice, but that's not essential.

Thanks all. I've downloaded the trial version of Lecture Notes, based on the description it seems pretty perfect, but I haven't been able to try it yet.

Will also look into Mindjet.

Taking pictures of hand written notes is an interesting idea. I think I've read that Evernote supports this and will do OCR on the notes, but for me part of the problem is I never seem to have a paper notebook available when I need one. I almost always have my phone with me though.

I can relate. It's a bit ironic though.... who'd of thought 10 years ago that we'd have a portable computing device more readily accessible in a meeting than a pen/paper.

This is weird, but it works, for me at least...

I have Wattpad on my PC and my droid. When I have to log something, I start a new story but, of course, I never publish it. Being in edit mode, I can add, copy & paste to something else, then delete it. For some reason it works out as a good single place that syncs, to collect various projects.
