Best backup application

Hello - As a new Atrix user, I am trying to find a good application that will allow me to backup everything on the phone - applications, data, and SDCard (I can't use Titanium because my phone is not rooted).

Thank you very much!

Astro works nicely.
Your contacts, calendar and apps will be backed up by Google automatically.
I back my contacts and calendar up on my laptop every now and again though, just in case.

I use MyBackupPro. You can backup apps/data, manage your backups (view/delete) and schedule auto backups.

Just be aware if you use MyBackup Pro and you are not rooted, it will restore the apps, but the "market link" will not be there. That means they won't show up in My Apps from the Android Market and you won't get updates to them.

I am not rooted. I have tried using MyBackup Pro (this has a 100mg limit for free) but I uninstalled it. Ideally the app will allow me to backup to my PC and/or Dropbox.

Thanks!

If you backup locally (to your SD card) you can then copy the backup files to your PC and / or Dropbox folder. That is manual intervention however... That does get you around their 100 meg up load limit (ie, your local backups can be as big as they need to be).

I think Sprite backup lets you seamlessly store your backups on in Dropbox, but I do not know much about how good the Sprite software is.

From the Androidzoom page:

After restored your applications, because the app was not installed from Google Market but from your sd card, the new installed app can't be upgraded from Google Market again. Now there is a solution: go to Manu "View and Manage"->Application->View At the "Apps in the file" manu, click the app you want to restore. It will take you to search the app in Google Market. Then you can download them again from Google Market.

Sounds like the same situation as MyBackup Pro. If you want updates to your apps via the Google Market, restoring the apps from "Backup Everything" won't work. You have to individually install apps from the Market (which kind of defeats the purpose of backing them up in the first place).

I am still looking for different options. I've tried each of the recommendations (Sprite, Backup Everything, MyBackup Pro) but they have each not fit for specific reasons.

Please let me know if you have any other options!

Thanks in advance
