Best Backup For Diary/Planner/Schedule?

I need to back up the events in my S Planner app with something that lets me view/edit the events (in case of my phone being out of action). Using Kies syncs with iCal but it doesn't accept any changes to repeated events - it duplicates them or ignores them. What can I use that will backup everything exactly as it is in my phone?

Rooted Android 4.3
and Mac OS 10.7

Hi

If you use the google calendar associated with the google account(s) on your phone (the big calendar button at the top of splanner lets you do that) then it will be automatically backed up by google and available in the google calendar on any pc/internet device anywhere. I have 4 google accounts on my phone for different businesses etc and separate calendars for each which I can turn on/off in splanner as I wish. Have had no problems with syncing.

I've tried Google before and I just tried again. That calendar pic at the top of the screen does nothing, tapping sync makes it say it's syncing but with what I don't know. The Google help page

doesn't help because everything is wrong. I have no idea how to sync and view my calendar on Google!
