Root best battery life?

My stock rooted N4 often shows in excess of 80% when I put it back on charge but more typically about 60-70%. I've never had it go below 50% in a single day's use.

But the figures from different users mean absolutely nothing; the overriding factor is the usage pattern - which differs from user to user, making comparisons meaningless.

Pretty late response here but..

Just my personal experience of course, but I've gotten the very best battery life out of PSX ([ROM] [AOSP] [4.3] [JWR66Y+JSS15R] [PSX] [v7] [9/24/2013] Pure Speed X - xda-developers). It's pretty low on features but really optimized and tweaked for performance and battery.

Throw a good kernel under it (I use Trinity with the clock max at 1026) and it'll help for sure. Faux is extremely battery friendly, just a bit sluggish for my taste. Other than that, try LBE Security to keep programs from opening in the background and it'll help keep things pretty optimized. I get really solid battery life with those combined.

Good luck!
