Best Battery saver app

I am looking for a best Battery Saver app- Paid or Free. Can anybody suggest with their experience.

I know some, maybe alot, will disagree, but I like JuiceDefender myself.
I have noticed definate improvement over the "stock" setup. It kills the radios when the phone lockscreens. The paid version has tons of options, most of which are over my head. I turn the background data off as well.

Set CPU. Works wonders for my battery, but u must be rooted.... all the others...meh

I have tried Juice defender, but I didn't feel any difference.
Most of the applications won't work if I turn off background data.
