Root Best CPU setting

What settings does everyone use for their CPU. I use interactive noop. I set off the third and forth core. I have core one running minimum 384mhz and maximum 1.51ghz. Second corner is minimum 384 and maximum 810mhz.
That's my settings for a balanced mode type situation. When I want maximum preforming I obviously turn everything maximum.
