Best droid tablet?

I have the original Transformer TF101 with keyboard dock a year ago. This is the best keyboard for any tablet. If you do a lot of typing, I highly recommend this tablet and keyboard. I do not think that any other Android tablet of the same generation has any significant advantage over the Transformer.

I've had a few and have preordered the N7 as well. Depends on your budget as well as your needs. Do you want a 7" or 10"?

Can anyone recommend a good droid tablet? How about the Asus Transformer line? Thoughts?
I have the 4G Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it is a fantastic tablet....better than all other tablets in my humble opinion. Unfortunately, you may not be able to buy it for a while because the California judge has granted Apple a preliminary injunction on this device.

P.S. Probably looking at a 7"... theres just so many damn options.

There are a LOT of new 7" tablets coming out soon. If you have a need for a micro SD card slot then you should probably take the N7 out of the conversation. However, if storage isn't an issue, the N7 is definitely a no-brainer.

If you need the extra space then I would either buy the Galaxy Tab 2 7", or wait for the Acer Iconia 110. For me, the Kindle Fire 2 isn't an option, but maybe you should check it out.

P.S.

I'm getting the N7! :D

I really wish the Nexus tab had the external SD card option...16GB is not good enough for me though the 7" form factor would probably work (if I limit myself to books and emails etc.) Movies might be a problem though.

I am also not sure about a Samsung product (except in the phone category) because of the problems (that I have read about) associated with OTA updates etc.

I currently have the Acer A500. It has worked well so far, but I have found that (1) it does weigh a bit (2) it is thick (I'd like a slimmer profile) and (3) build quality while not bad is not as good as it could be.

So where does it leave me if I want a tablet - say in about 3-4 months from now?

Thanks.

PS: The Surface is on my radar, of course, but only after it has been in the market for at least a year or so and certainly not before that.
