Best earbuds with mic ..why do they all fail?

Have had multiple pairs of your buds with microphones and it seems like they all have broken after a few months are there any worth buying that will last more than 3 or 4 months. Willing to pay moderate cost.
Microphone becomes unusable after 3 months....

. After a few weeks the right side or the left side to stop working and you have to turn the wires together to connect properly to hear both sides.
Recommendations anybody

I have the bose mie2's and really like them. I dont know if theyre worth the 120 bose wants for them, but I paid 50 for em and they work great. I use them to take calls when at the gym all the time and the sound quality is pretty solid for ear buds. goin on 2 years strong and thats with me sweating in them on the treadmill
