Best game for Android

Not good. There is no touchscreen controls besides the D-Pad, meaning you are forced to assign buttons to the search/back/trackball. Makes for a really awkward play session. Hopefully Android 2.0 allows the developers to incorporate such controls seeing as the Iphone, a multi touch phone as well, has them.

I've managed to get it working quite well with the eris. First of all, the program is not multitouch so it is almost impossible to use the onscreen d-pad and either the search or back buttons as A or B, so I set it up so I dont' have to use the on screen d-pad. Go into settings, and make sure that trackball as D-pad and Sensor as D-pad are checked. THat way, you can tilt your phone left/right to move left/right, and use the trackball to select up and down. You can then use the search and back buttons as A and B and wont run into the multitouch problems you would have if you were using the on screen d-pad.

With this setup i'm able to play super tecmo bowl, rbi baseball, excitebike, and of course all of the rpgs final fantasy/dragon warrior etc. I haven't tried mario yet, but i imagine it'd be relatively easy to control with the sensor. Definately try the free version first to see if you like it.

Tried this and it's still rather annoying to get use to. Can't really acclimate to side scrollers or anything that requires a lot of moving. I see your point for rpgs and that sort of game.

Blocked Stone
Grid Droid
Baseball Superstars
Labyrinth Lite

When is the full Labyrinth game coming back to the market?

My vote is for Fishing 2 Go, the developer updates it all the time and it just keeps getting better and better. Caught a 999.47 lbs Tuna today.

Oh sweet!! I hadn't played it since the update.

My problem with WTD is that it's a pain to play without a KB.

Alchemy. You start with 4 elements and combine them to make new things, then combine the results to make newer ones, etc. Pretty addictive, and good longevity. You wont find all of them in any short time. And updates to the game add more elements as well.

A few of my favorites:

GalaxIR - Awesome Galcon clone with online multiplayer
Noiz2 - A Noiz2SA port, basically a "bullet hell" space shooter using vector graphics
All of the emulators
Zenonia - Really fun action RPG
Mechanics Touch - Lemmings type game
Pac Man Championship - A fun new take on Pac Man
Toss it - Better than Paper Toss IMO
Heavy Gunner 3D - Just awesome

Pirates & Traders. ;)

On a more serious note :-

Bonsai Blast and the Choice games (text adventures - Choice of Dragons, Choice of Broadsides) are among my favorites.
