i read that about the pannys also but that applied to the 06 and 7 models. 2009's were solid while 2010 cant really be judges for reliability yet , you can be sure they will be fine based off of the 2009 models performance. Just make sure you get the plasma coverage with best buy it covers everything. burn in, black levels, etc

No the 2009 models had problems.

That is just one of many articels that shows it and if you go over to avs and look for posts by d-nice you can find many things reguarding the 2009s.

Have not seem much on the 2010 models but I have also not been looking.

+1 on the samsung led, and while I'm not looking at the 60 inch model I am going to be bringing one thats just a little bit smaller home soon.

Samsung makes the best LCD's in my opinion. I have a 46" and a 52". Love them.
