Best method of transferring music from Mac to S6?

Just switched from my old M7 to the S6 and am having trouble dropping my music onto the new phone. When I would plug the M7 into my Mac it would see it as an external device. Not so with the S6. It doesn't show up at all in Finder! Any tips on how to handle this? Thanks.

There's two usual methods, one is to install Android File Transfer into the Mac and connect the phone, and second is to do it wirelessly via WiFi, using something like AirDroid.
