Best phone for under $300

My boost mobile lg f7 broke today. looking for a replacement. What are some good options? Pros and cons please.

The galaxy s3 is well worth it. I had it and it is a fast phone and takes good Pictures. Gave it to wife as I joined my families plan and got the s5

If you want LTE the Galaxy S3 is a great option.

Moto G if you don't need LTE.

Being a former s3 owner myself, if you want lte you can't go wrong with that.

But if lte isn't an issue, moto g would be the best deal for you.

In my opinion, the only major difference between the 2 is the screen size (the moto g being the smaller) and camera isn't as good as the s3 either.

With that being said, for the price I'd most likely go with the moto g with it being relatively cheaper than the s3.

Yep. LTE and Size are the differences. My wife has an S3 and it's a great phone but personally I wouldn't buy it now at the price Boost has it (I usually buy used).

Is the LTE on Boost (Sprint) any good in your area?

Moto G is just alot of bang for the buck.

Oh and one other difference, moto g only comes with 8gb storage non expandable while the s3 comes with 16gb that can expand.

4g is hit or miss around me still.

I only play a few games on the phone. I haven't rooted or added roms to a phone in a while. Im not sure how much free space is on the moto g, but it doesn't look bad for the price.

On my Verizon moto g, after the OS and little bit of bloat Verizon adds, I've got around 5 gb of free space to play around with. I imagine it'll be the same with the boost version.

I also think the Moto G is the best of you don't need LTE. I had the pleasure of playing with a friend's last weekend. It's a nice phone. The S3 is definitely better though.

My wife has the F7 and so far it's been a great phone. How did you break yours?

If you have LTE, you can find the Galaxy S3 on sale sometimes for $250. If you don't have LTE in your area, the Moto G for $99.

If you can't find the S3 on sale, then get another F7.

Moto G is a great phone in my opinion.
