best replacement for broken Dolphin browser

[tenchy]

I have finally given up on dolphin.
Used to be brilliant, but later updates have been flaky at best, and now, yesterday's masterpiece means I have no predictive spelling options on any keyboards.

What are the firefox and chrome offerings like?

My headline requirements are desktop user agent on permanently (that works-unlike stock browser) and the ability to open links into tabs, ideally choosing from background or immediate, like dolphin.
Speed and stability a must of course, implicit.

I don't like Firefox and Chrome, but I looove Boat Browser. The Mini version is even better. You can permanently set Desktop User Agent, it supports Flash, you can open links in tabs (long press link or bookmark and select Open In New Window), it's blazing fast and rock solid, and it has a small footprint at just 2.24 MB (Boat Browser Mini).

They are all free, why can't you just go try them?

Another vote for Boat, been using it for a long time and have had zero problems with it.

Have you tried Dolphin Mini? I've been using it for over a year without ANY issues.
