I actually did read that book, (I'm pretty sure it was free) and it was bad. Not the worst thing I've ever read, but yeah, Lifetime movie pretty much sums it up.

*spoilers* There was another survivor on the island who was a psycho. They had to kill him in defense of their lives, and made a big deal about covering up the non crime. Ok, give it that conceit if you are feeling generous, but then why go on a live Barbara Walters-type TV special if you're trying to hide something? It's not that the book was terrible, just totally unnecessary.

I kind of felt the same way about The DaVinci Code. I read it in a day and when I finished I thought it was "cute" but certainly not great. It's the kind of thing you read on a plane to keep your mind off the crying kid in the seat in front of you and the fat guy behind you complaining every 15 minutes abut something. ;)

I got the Da Vinci Code book, I only read it during Jury Duty....... Had it since it came out and I'm no where close to the end.

I think I skip Jury Duty sometimes just so I won't have to read the book
