Help best screen enhancer/fixer apps?

I just got a new Samsung tablet, my old one is heading south.

Unfortunately the screen in this new one, a budget model Tab E lite, isnt anywhere near as good as the screen on my old Tab 2 7.

Its got a serious reddish color cast and overall it lacks color depth, the whites are blown out (no detail) and reducing the contrast makes everything look dull.

What would be some good apps for me to attempt to make this thing look better? (if this is even possible)

Is it possible to replace the screen itself with a better screen?

Almost sounds like it's just a matter of the defect, like maybe the connector between the motherboard and screen is loose or a faulty component. Since you just got that Tab E Lite there should still be some kind of warranty coverage, maybe just get it exchanged.
