Best screencapture (video) app?

[boyuancy]

I wanted to know which screenshot/screencapture apps you use? I want to make a few videos - reviews, gameplay videos and stuff. I use "droid@screen". It is good for taking pics and stuff but that's as far as it goes.
Please recommend me some apps - better if it doesn't require a root and is free.
Thanks.

Have look at free 'VitalPlayer'.
Need no root

For screen shots the player has to use its software codec.
