Root Best Tethering App?

I just rooted my phone today, and basically the only reason for now was to get a wifi tethering app. I went ahead and installed "Wifi Tether for Root Users." It does not seem to be working, even when I click the routing fix. How can I fix this? I tried a few different apps but they seemed to not work either.

I personally use this app: http://goo.gl/tAvME but no matter which one you use make sure that generic ics is set as the device profile. Good luck, OB

The generic ICS worked! I'll try that app but I think it's the new beta version of the one I'm using. It seems to slow down the wifi speeds though... I get 14 mb/s on 4G but only 6 when tethering.

Yeah you're not going to get full speed while tethering because of a number of different reasons including protocol overhead. Glad it worked out for you and yes the version posted has the latest mods.

i use easy tether. it tethers through usb i use that one because i hate how wifi tethering makes the phone hot.
