Best Tutorial App Development

I've jumped into the development ring and I've been using Eclipse and Google's Beta AppInventor online software and created very simple apps but still am a noob about it all.

Are there any good books anyone can suggest or any good articles online or maybe even some good videos on YouTube that I can watch as a noobie to find out how to create some fine Android apps and games? Even something as easy as a game of checkers or something...it doesn't have to be like Angry Birds or an app as simple as a fart app. I just want to get a taste of something to begin. I'm open to all programs too not just Eclipse and Google's. Thank you.

I've been messing around with eclipse myself, I know that androiddevelopers.com has a few tutorials, it might be worth trying to find some java tutorials as the SDK is java. There are a few devs on here hopefully they will give you some insight.

Thanks! Yeah, I never thought of that as it is Java based. I started using Eclipse because I wanted to do more than simple functions cause the Google AI just made me even more hungry lol but thanks. I'm hoping more people come to give me more insight.
