Best Video convert settings for Desire

Hi,

I have tried to put some .avi videos on my Desire but when I watch them it either plays for a few seconds then comes up with "This video cannot be played" or it doesn't play at all. Also it doesn't play full screen.

So from searching thru the forums here, i have found that I need to have the videos in mp4 format and Any Video Converter seems to be the way to do it. Can anyone assist me with what convert settings to use to get optimum video playback on the HTC DEsire?

Change your video app and you won't have to convert from AVI.

Yep just get rockplayer,plays divx,avi's,mp4.it is the best video player for Android imho.

rockplayer is the best thing that happened to my phone (that sounded a little dirty).
