Help Best Virus/Spyware Removal for Android

Good Evening everyone,

I seem to get a lot of virus's & spyware on my phone. What is the best android app which is free that covers off both ? I have a Samsung Galaxy s6. I have looked at a bunch of forums and downloaded some apps but I don't feel like they're actually doing anything. If there was a super amazing virus/spyware removal app that costs under 5 bucks, I might be willing to pay for it.

The other question you should be asking is why you are getting so much of this stuff? There are no android viruses, so if actual malware is being installed on your phone that's because you are installing it - not intentionally, of course, but either you are being careless about what you install or where you install it from, or you are falling for some scam (website ad scripts putting up fake system messages or something like that).

Always check the permissions of apps you install and think about whether they are reasonable. Be extra suspicious when installing from random download sites, especially sites that offer pirated apps (cracked apps frequently have malware added to them). And be suspicious of messages that pop up to tell you you have a "virus" and that you should click on the button to fix it - nothing in the Android OS does that, and the chances are that doing what it suggests will install the very thing you are worried about.

Do you all use the 360 security app or do you feel like it actually works? I've been checking the permissions to the stuff I was installing and reformatted my phone to make it nice/clean.

Why do you care whether we use it or not? As others have said, many people do not regard the company/app as trustworthy, which when it has the sort of permissions a security app requires is a very bad thing.
