Root Best way to root Nook Tablet

Just curious what is the best and easiest way to root my Nook Tablet version: 1.4.3? Thanks.

I just picked up a Nook 1.4.3 yesterday. I followed a thread on XDA but it didn't quite take. I'm going to try again tonight and will post results tomorrow or or later this week.

Follow-up: Ok, I went and re-read reply #15 and decided against it. While tinkering with the tablet, it dawned on me that I neglected to do a reset and format cache.

So I did that and I'm up and rolling. Skip steps 12 and 13 and just go straight to the latest stable (or RC) for CyanogenMod.

I relied on Ray Waldo's instructions here. It wasn't trouble-free; apparently my NT is of the rare breed that won't boot from SD card unless it's charging - but I've got Barnabas running CM10.1 now.
