Best Weather App??

The best one in my opinion is Weather Moon doesn't affect my battery life at all and i like the styling

As a new user to Android I've installed and uninstalled dozens of weather Apps. Hands down! My favorite is Elecont's eWeather. Easy to look at, more bells and whistles and two weather services to draw data from. Oh, and radar, earthquakes and magnetic storms.

Are there any good weather apps out there that do not burn through your battery life? I have tried numerous ones and they all have drained my battery terribly. I am looking for an app that gives weather alerts. Not that interested in radar. Thanks!

Nothing I've tried uses much battery. I use Weatherbug now with widget that updates once per hour. I was using this, which lets you update between certain hours, which may help, but I don't think WB updates when the screen is off anyway. You just need to make sure other things are not updating more frequently (like don't "follow me"). WB isn't even on my most used list in Battery status, which means it's under 1%. It only uses power when it updates, and that only takes about 10 seconds. I just checked it with Power Tutor and hit 430 mW during the update, but after it updates uses no power. Also, don't use "My Location", input your city so it is not searching with 3G or GPS.

I am looking for an app that gives weather alerts.

Accuweather just updated, it has push alerts now. Don't know if they work or not...
