Best website for third party apps?

Can anyone tell me what is the best website where I can download quality applications that aren't on the market. Also I'd prefer a site that lets me download the apk so I can transfer it to my phone via usb.

Just a heads-up.. you'll want to be careful sideloading apps. It doesn't take much to decompile and app, rewrite it with malicious code, repackage it and offer it for download on a strange site.

One of the benefits of sticking with the android market is that Google can pull an app at any time as well as uninstall it from your phone - they'll notify you if this happens. This is beneficial if they find a malicious app because you'll be notified. But there is no guarantee that you will be notified of a malicious app if you sideload apps. I don't allow sideloading of apps unless I write the app myself.

Just wanted to make that clear.

Those are the 3 I know of. I don't know about any legit stores that let you download the apk.
