Better Camera Apps

The bad news is that the Droid takes abysmal pictures. Not only is the software slow, the images it takes are horribly exposed with poor colors.

The good news is that the Droid has a great camera on paper, so these issues may be fixable.

So has anyone tried some of the camera apps out there on the marketplace? Do any of them improve on the turd we've been given?

I'm with you on this one. I expected better from this phone. I'm hoping an app can fix this. I'm just a little hesitant to pull the trigger since this phone is on Android 2.0.

I heavily relied on my previous camera phone for storing a lot of info like business cards, addresses, computer screen snapshots, oil changes, you name it, I took a picture of it. Most of them were in macro mode and the Droid is awful in that mode. I hope there's a fix soon.

its good in certain light, but mostly bad i bet they will send a fix for it in a firmware upgrade, bb storm did
