I've just replaced my work Blackberry with a Galaxy S3, and it's better in every way... Apart from the standard e-mail app.
I rely quite heavily on subfolders, and it really doesn't deal well with them. I can get it to sync them all ok and also get a notification when a new message arrives in one of them, but the main issues I have are:
1) the app shortcut icon only shows the number of new messages in the main inbox
2) the numbers next to the subfolders in the "all folder" view show the total number of messages in the folder, rather than the number of unread ones (meaning that I need to go into each folder individually to check if there are any unread ones)
3) the lack of a Blackberry style inbox, where all e-mails appear together (regardless of whether they're in a subfolder or not) - there's the combined inbox feature, but I don't think this does what I want (pools e-mails from different accounts rather than subfolders under the same account)
If anyone can tell me how to get around any of the points above, or can recommend me a third party app which will do the job better (specifically one which provides point 3) it'd be much appreciated. Needs to support the same Exchange connectivity options as the standard app.
Thanks,
Andy
