Better Facebook notifications

Personally, I like the Android Facebook app, but there is one major problem with it for me - It doesn't offer deep enough support for notifications!

Sure, I can get notified of messages, friend requests and event invites, but those are few and far between.
What I'm really looking for support for are things such as wall posts, comments, likes etc etc.

When I Googled this I was directed to a few apps such as Bloo, but they appear not to be on the market anymore.

Anyone have a solution?

Just FYI.... I prefer Andriod FB to Friendcaster.

I log on to FB with my PC and I set every possible notification that I can for text, and all others for my gmail. So now my phone will receive a text/email notification for every possible kind of FB notification.

Additionally using a Text pop-up app is nice, such as "SMS Pop U" if you prefer the default app, or my favorite is "Go SMS Pro". Go SMS is nice because not only will texts put a big pop up window on your screen, but it also synchs all your contacts with their Facebook profile pics.

I use FriendCaster for notifications. For practically everything else, I use the Facebook app. FriendCaster Pro has a nice feature where you can receive alerts via Gmail. Set up your FB account to send alerts using email. Then FriendCaster Pro will intercept those emails and present the alerts to you and then delete the emails, so as not to clutter up your email inbox. I do this and I also set up a custom notification sound for Facebook alerts, so I know whether I'm getting a regular email alert or if it is a Facebook alert.
