better Hardware-Keyboard support within Lists

Flexman

Hello!

I have the HTC Chacha, but this question might also concern other users of Hardware-Keyboard devices.

Is there any chance I get a better keyboard support in any kind of list?
I like the support of the keyboard when searching for contacts or apps, but it would also be nice to have it on any list.

e.g.
the sms view (for example: if i start typing a name, this will show me the sms-threads matching the name).
or for example DroidWall: when I want so change the settings for opera, I just would have to write "op".

Is there any tool that can do this?

Also it's a little bit annoying the the calender works with touch, so that i have rotating numbers instead of just the posibility to enter the time. can i change this?
