better notification updates?

Hi guys, not sure did you all experience delays in notification or sometimes doesn't even notify me at all? I was an iphone user, i really enjoy iphone's instant notification updates when someone mention me on twitter, facebook. Facebook and facebook messenger doesn't notify me at all when i'm in data mode - i will only receive notification when i'm on wifi. Anyone having this problem too?

Is there way to improve the notification?

I'm having the international version of note 2.

It will be to do with the notifications in the Facebook and Facebook messenger app. Open each if these separately and then tap the left menu button then settings and go through all the notification settings to set sync frequency, the shorter time you set here the quicker it will notify you, eggs if you have sync frequency set at 30 mins it will only send you a notification every 30 mins. Look for a setting about only notifying you on WiFi too.
I don't know how used to the note you are but as well as the main phone setting menu each app has its own settings allowing for much better customisation. To get to these just open each app and tap the left menu button on the note and it will very likely bring up another menu for you which will include settings.

Well, all the setting needed to notify me was ticked. There is still no notification updates at all when i'm on 4g/3g. I only receive notification when i'm in wifi mode. There isn't any options about wifi/data notification.
