Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to get higher quality recordings? Back when I had my intercept, I remember being able to record 480p videos when I had a custom Cyanogenmod rom for it. It didn't work off the bat, but I messed with some of the settings in the Build.prop and media_profiles.xml to get it to work(If I went to 720p, it would just crash). If I were to edit those two files on my Reverb, the frame size and bitrates are still the same, no matter how high I raise them. My guess is that the stock camera app is holding it back, and I would need a root camera app(like the on my intercept had) so I can try setting higher frame sizes and increase the bitrate. Has anyone managed to get this to work, or come close to it? One thing I found cool was that the stock app has the lack of tap to focus. If you download LG Camera from the store, you can tap to focus while recording =).
