Help Better way of voice searching?

Hi, I can't get voice search to recognise what I'm saying! I'm sure I read about an app that allows you to record the name of your contacts and then assign that recoding somehow so that it is recognised when you speak it again...does that make sense!? Has anyone esle heard of this...thanks
 
I can answer my own question - I eventually came across the review - it is called Voice Speed Dial - it costs
