Bettercut + 2.1 Gallery shortcut = Force close loop?

So, I have the 2.1 update. I use Bettercut to make a shortcut to "Gallery" either through the app or by long pressing. If I click on my new gallery shortcut I get a force close loop requiring a battery pull.

I don't seem to have a problem with any other apps or shortcuts... and making shortcuts the regular way works just fine. I am thinking maybe Bettercut has an issue with the new gallery for 2.1?

(I thought it was Helix but it happens even on the default home.)

I'm having the same problem with mine. Just got 2.1 last night and while playing around everything works fine but the gallery. It goes into the force close loop. Can anyone provide assistance?

Try this:

Using the app drawer, drag the Gallery icon to the desktop to make a shortcut.
Then launch Bettercut, FROM THE APP DRAWER, and choose "Edit Shortcut".

I'm still having the issue. I've tried it with and without Bettercut. If I go to my pictures via Astro I can see them there and flip through them that way with no problems. It appears to just be a problem with the main Gallery access screen and my phone not wanting to load that.

Finally got mine working over the weekend. Unfortunately, I had to do a factory reset. There's an app called appbrain that is run by google (appbrain.com)that syncs all of your apps so when I lost them I was able to grab that one and it found everything else for me.
