There's apparently a single line of code that can be entered via QR code, pushed by a website or NFC that will completely wipe the data from your Samsung phone!

It appears to only affect Samsung devices with touchwiz. The Gnex is stock Android so it is fine for now.

Doesn't affect our Galaxy Nexus.

Hopefully a quick patch will be issued for those other phones. It also looks like some HTC phones might also be affected.

Factory reset. Either way, that's a pretty severe security flaw since its akin to going to a website and your hard drive gets wiped on your PC without warning (actually I'm sure there are several viruses like that). Not really something to just scoff at since this is actually destructive.
Good to know the Nexus isn't vulnerable though.
