Big Button Keyboard App - Problem entering Phonelock Password

I installed the 'Big Button Keyboard' app on my HTC Desire S yesterday and since then I cannot enter the Phone Lock password so am locked out of the phone. The new keyboard displays on the screen but when I enter the password it does nothing.
Does anyone have any suggestions or can someone please help.?

when you press and hold when typing, the option for change the keyboard appear.
