Accessories Big Disappointment with Bluetooth - HELP!

Hi guys! I'm a newbie here and of course my first post is a problem.

On Father's Day, my kids gave me a Plantroics stereo Bluetooth set like this:

I commute by train and like to listen to Pandora or Audible and the wireless stereo headphones worked great with my Blackberry Tour.

Two days ago I got the Evo and now I can't get my headset to work with any apps. The only thing they are good for is talking on the phone but I can't get them to work with any media players.

I hope I'm just a newb who is just doing something wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

When you paired with the headset did you choose which profiles you wanted it to use?

I didn't see where that was an option, but I may not have been paying attention.

Maybe I should remove it and set it back up again?

Bluetooth on android can be flakey. I would delete the pairing and re pair it with the phone.
