Help Big problem to sync with gmail on my Note2

Hi, I am facing a weird problem that I just can't figure out. I have a samsung galaxy note 2 (un-rooted). Ever since the past friday (12/21/2012), I have not been able to get any new email from 3 of my gmail accounts (I have setup 3 gmail under the samsung email app).
Here are what I know:


I checked the storage and I have at least 8gig available.
I have checked with my ipad and it's able to get emails from my gmail accounts without any problem.
I can access internet with my phone without any issue.
I can do exchange sync with my corporate email without any issue.
If I try to remove any of the 3 gmail accounts, it will say unable to delete. 503 service unavailable.

Do any of you have ideas about what might be causing this issue?

I have moved this thread into the Galaxy Note 2 forums to receive some specific device support, since this issue seems to be device related.

Hope this helps, and as chanchan asked, why not just use the Gmail app that is on the play store?
 
Hi, I have also tried the gmail app. When I go there, it's just trying to load and load and load. The Gmail app used to work as well.

I have also tried to restart the phone, take out battery + sim card + SD and put everything back. The end result is the same.

I am on verizon wireless.

I think gmail is having issues too.
For the past week or so emails that I've deleted from the app appear as not read and in my inbox.

You may want to double check settings that your accounts are syncing.

- Go to Settings >
- Scroll Down to Accounts >
- Click Google (You should see all your google accounts you have) >
- Now click on one email account and it will go to sync settings >
- Within Sync Settings make sure 'Sync Gmail' is ticked (and any other ones for that specific account) >
- Then click Sync Now

Now do this for the rest of the accounts. ... and that's it. Should get some emails ... do a test email.

Oh and make sure in the notification bar that sync is active:)

PS: I Use the gmail app from the app store ... works well ... you can add more than one email account.

Some people say K9 works well as an email client but I never used it. Seems to be popular choice on this forum
 
Right now gmail is not working for me on my phone or on the web.

Edit: Not sure what happened but test messages were going to spam folder so I did not see them. Gmail does appear to be working/syncing here.
 
gmail is working for me. I don't use the gmail sync. I use the m.google exchange server to push gmail to me. I had been using that for last 4 or 5 years on my iPhone and never fails.

Thank you for the suggestion.

I was able to use the gmail app and sync up email.

Anyone knows how I can remove my gmail account off the email app?

When I try to delete them, i get unable to delete, service unavailable 503.
