Big T-Mobile announcement today?

I certainly won't complain about that! LOL Not sure how much cheaper I can get though... I blow through a ton of data a month
 
Better coverage would be awesome. What about a roaming abilities on Verizon networks? That would be pretty nifty The whole "better coverage" thing doesn't really get me to excited after the multi year debacle with Sprint. LOL

Maybe it will give me an excuse to travel? ;) BF keeps wanting to take a cruise and I've been hesitant since cell phone connection back home would be limited.
 
T-Mobile website seems to indicate free global roaming in 100 foreign countries for postpaid subscribers. Interesting, but would like to read the fine print. ;)
 
It's not like the funds are there either! LOL he needs to find a dog friendly cruise. I would be all over that. Although the other dogs would probably annoy me. ..

Here is the fine print:
Starting October 20, unlimited international data coverage and texting are included with a qualifying Simple Choice Plan at no extra charge. It’s just 20 cents per minute for calls to mobile devices and landlines.

Additional charges apply in excluded destinations; included destinations subject to change at T-Mobile’s discretion. Qualifying postpaid Simple Choice plan and capable device required. Taxes additional; usage taxed in some countries. Voice and text features for direct communications between 2 people. Communications with premium-rate (e.g., 900, entertainment, high-rate helpline) numbers not included and may incur additional charges. Calls over Wi-Fi are $.20/min; texts over Wi-Fi are $.20 each. Coverage not available in some areas; we are not responsible for the performance of our roaming partners’ networks. Data at up to 2G speeds. No tethering.

So wait, if you text over the network it's free but if done over wifi it's 20 cents a text? That sounds weird :confused:
