big update incoming for boost S5

it doesn't say what it is but it's 313.20MB. It's about 3am here so won't do it tonight. Anyone know what it is or has already installed it?
 
I believe it has something to do with patching stage fright.
Samsung has released a patch and Sprint and AT&T are rolling it out.
 
yea, noticed that has been announced, don't think it was yet when i posted this. Going to update now and see if the build number matches. Though the article mentions it's a small update, and 300mb+ is not small, so probably way more then that.
 
Unless they sent a different build to boost then sprint this isn't it:

my new build number: G900PVPU3BOF6

In the case of build numbers i'm guessing G comes after F, which would mean this is probably one or more patches behind that.

Most notable change is probably that the kenel has been updated, since the last patch was in may and this has a date of mid june. Still only straight only 5.0

edit: This was the update before that, the one i just got has been out for almost month. I'm guessing this phone doesn't auto check for updates very often then.

The new 'new' one is 321.23MB, and actually says it's for Stagefright
