Big V - exchange ICS Maxx for GB Maxx???

Really not crazy about the new ICS update and annoyances and lack of user control.
And not being able to go back to GB.
Wonder if Verizon would laugh if I asked them to take my ICS Maxx and trade it for GB Maxx??

My mom was having a lot of trouble after updating she went to the local Verizon store here in Wilmington, NC and they had a replacement sent to her. The only downside is that the phone she got was a certified replacement which we all know means refurbished.
 
I bought the phone new off ebay and not from V,,, that might make a difference.
I'll have to just try and see.
 
I bought my first MAXX from Amazon and had to have it replaced. FWIW - Got a referb and it works just as well or better than the original. YMMV
 
1) ebay bought phones aren't going to be replaced by VZW.
2) it's unlikely you'll get a replacement phone that hasn't already been updated.
 
i got my replacement today, but it came with ICS again.... it's a crapshoot. It looks like I will be just sending that one back, and trying again.

(I'm not keeping the new one, because I have a screen protector on mine)

That's odd my mom's replacement came with GB.
