Help bigger sd card swap

Hi iam new here and i hope one of you experts can tell me the best way to swap my 2gb micro sd card to my new 16gb scandisk microsd and save all the info.

I think you just save contents of old card to pc then install onto new card once in phone.
I think.

Just copy everything on your old sd card to the new one using a pc.
Its as simple as that...
SD card is just like a pen drive which u can insert in ur phone.
