Biggest SD card allowed?

What is the largest SD Card that you have had work with a Commando? I found some specs that state 16GB, but class 10 32GB SD cards are going for about $27 these days. Good price if I can use one in a Commando. Thanks.

Hmmmm.... Sandisk Ultra 32GB card seems to keep giving me problems. It keeps "being removed" while the phone is on, but it is still in the phone. I was able to transfer ~15GB of music to the card, and it has apps, pictures, etc. on it, but occasionally the phone won't find the card. A 2GB card I have seems to be recognized by the phone, but I haven't used it long enough to see if the 2GB card is fool proof. Any hints?

Staticfilter- I'd guess the phone would see a 64gb card, but no promises.

64gb shouldnt work.... It is a differant format to the 32 and lower and only a few devices except it and c771 is not one!

32 should work no problem not sure what the issue is with the above posters card but i had no issues ever with the 32gb cards i used a generic ebay card for less than 15 on ebay it was class ten but the cassio only can optimize to i think class 6 after that it doesnt matter the processor is only so fast so i would recomend a 32 class 6 8 or 10 they all should work great. the higher the class the fast the information can be processed but again you phones cpu or whatever is only so fast so anything class 6 and up should behave the same.

Thanks, Genyc07. I knew about the class structure, but I was unaware of the difference between 64 & 32 GB cards. I'll probably take back my card. Thanks!

No you are correct about the class numbering. I must appoligize about the SD cards as I bought two more for my other two commandos, a generic class 10 8GB, and a Sandisk UHS-1 8GB (same type as my 32GB).
Turns out the write speeds of the 8GB model of the Sandisk card were 9.7 MB/S write and 22.1MB/S read. Eithor my 32GB is a bad card, or the speeds of 32GB cards are slower than that of an 8GB.

well there is more information on a 32 to process. unless im miss reading your post the 32 may feel a little sluggish compairred to the 8gb. im really not to sure. either way memory is insanely cheap these days!

no, you read the post correctly. I agree about the memory being cheap, too!
if someone else has a 32gb uhs 1 SanDisk and they can confirm the slow speeds, or its just my card.

I have a 32gig class 10 "ultra "SanDisk that my commando rejected constantly. There is a 16 gig ultra in it for about a year now with no problem. It reads at 7.5 ands writes at 32 with the cach set at 2048. But the 32 won't stay online for more than 1 hour before the phone spits it out. Don't think the card is bad cause it works flawlessly transfering info. (Using it as a flash drive these days) Any thoughts of getting it working in the phone would be much appreciated.

1. what message does it say in notifications when it spits it out?
2. (depends on one kind of) what is the filesystem on your sd card?

Figured out more information:
Commando only supports FAT32 formatted sdcards. exFAT will not work with it.
I can guanrtee support for 32GB sdcards. Not sure about 64, but i could work, so long as you can format it to 32GB
