Root Binary Counter

Anyone know how to reset the binary counter to get rid of the yellow explanation point on boot? Triangle Away isn't compatible according to the store.

Thanks!

I always see this kage guy replying to everything in a attitude that he owns the admire section, jeez nobody asked you for help then again that is what this forum is for so stop complaining, if you dont wanna help then don't. Simple.

Unfortunately I didn't take note to what I did to remove my triangle, but mine -IS- still gone. I believe it stopped appearing after the official 2.3.6 update.

I do know for sure that it did not show when I was messing with things related to 2.3.6

Lol that's funny. I'm gonna help and still have an attitude so uhhh yeah

Yeah, looking for stock as I want to sell the Admire.

Alright look I'm going to solve this right now. The binary count that appears when you go into download mode, you cant do anything about unfortunately. We dont have the exploits that other phones have like some of the Galaxy phones. I know of users who has it set to 40+, I myself have it set to 2 thanks to experimenting with Odin. Now thats out of the way, to get your phone to clear stock simply go to the Samsung website and search the for the phone in the search box. make sure you select the MetroPCS not the Generic. Once you find it maneuver over to Drivers and Software. In the software you can find the Official update for our phone that will set the phone to pure stock 2.3.6. If you have root, CWM, a ROM, then using the upgrade tool from the update will remove any trace of that. and you will be set to stock and ready to sell.

I'm not talking about stock software as I can get that myself. I was replying to the other persons post regarding the thing for the stock kernal. I am talking about the one on boot where it normally shows the android logo. I don't want to sell it off with a yellow triangle. I don't believe I ever mentioned download mode.

That's what he was talking about. All you have to do is run the update tool and it resets the binary count which in turn gets rid of the yellow triangle at boot.
