I have been playing around with a bionic to see if I really want one, trying to use about:debug to go into the menu for the bionics browser and change the ua string to desktop cause i dont want the mobile site, i would like the full website, has anyone been able to make the change to see full web pages and not the mobile site. So i may be thinking its a moto issue, until an update comes out.

I've loaded more than a few web sites that load normal, not mobile pages, whereas my DROID used to load mobile sites all the time.

one is for my bank (a credit union)
another is this place right here
Cannot remember the third one off the top of my head.

The Google page is loading the mobile version b/c the home page string itself is for the mobile page.

Download the SkyFire browser...Allows you to switch back and fourth. And it's lighning fast...

I use the Miren Browser and it loads the full websites on everything and is very fast, even without 4G here yet.

+1
use DOLPHIN HD browser, not the stock. There's a simple add-on (right sidebar) that allows you to toggle Mobile vs Desktop webpages. This is just a small fraction of the potential Dolphin offers over stock.
