Bionic: Buy It From Verizon or Amazon

We need 2 Bionics coming from 2 BB Storm2s. We have verizon accts and the Unlimited Data Plans. It is hard to figure out what the deal price is from Amazon until you complete the entire deal with CC info. At one point I saw $29.95 per phone but that may be for a brand new account, not for another 2 year extension. If Amazon is cheaper, would it pay to go there considering if your phones breaks within the warranty period, the Verizon Store will give you a brand new phone, immediately. What do you do if you got the Bionic from Amazon and it breaks? Is theVerizonstore authorized to replace thephone for Motorola even if you got it from Amazon?
 
Go through whoever is cheaper. Check to see if radioshack sells the bionic. I think it's $199 over there.

I conferred with my wife regarding her upcoming purchase of her Bionic (she is due for an upgrade on the 13th). She wants the piece of mind given by purchasing it at our nearby Verizon store, regardless of price, because if anything goes wrong with it, she can exchange it at any Verizon store in the US that has another one in stock. I feel the same way. For someone on a tight budget, where every penny matters, I'm sure they might argue with that sentiment.
 
I was wrong, at Amazon Wireless, it is $249.95 (with unlimited data plan) for an upgrade & $149.95 for a new a/c (no unlimited data plan). $29.95 was for that grandfathered unlimited data plan not the phone.

I got mine at Best Buy Mobile this past Saturday for $179. They were on sale for $229 and they gave me a $50 coupon if I came back and bought a phone that day...so I did.
 
Wait until November 3rd when the Samsung Prime comes out. You'll find it on Ebay/Craigslist and even VZW for 150.00-199.99. When the Prime comes out Bionic sales will tank. Customers are already tired of the bugs.
