USB connect from Windows 7 to Droid X ... Droid X appears as a disk on Windows 7 ... I have access to all folders on Droid X from Windows 7.

USB connect from Windows 7 to Bionic ... Bionic appears a disk on Windows 7 ... I have access only to thhree folders on SD Card on Bionic from Windows 7.

This is using the same USB connection on Windows 7.

On the phone, bring your notification window down and press the USB connection notification and change the method it is currently using (prolly from Windows Media Sync) to PC Mode or USB Storage mode

Thank you for the response.

I stumbled into the answer in parallel of your efforts ...

I located an errant Device Administratir account for an application. I had tried to unistall the application in the past but was prevented. When I disabled the account I could then uninstall the application. After that I powered off the Bionic and posered it back on.

When I then connected the Bionic to the USB cable two disk drives were reported on the PC ... one for phone memory and one for the SD card.

This worked once. The next time I tried it it did not work.

I followed your recommendation and it is now working. I can access phne memory from the PC.

Thank you for the help.
